2009 ULTIMATE ARTIST MONTHLY ARTWORK CONTEST
The theme for each month of 2009 will be the artist's choice of any artwork related to Xena Warrior Princess. Artists will have from the beginning to the end to of each month to submit one piece of artwork.
Entries must include at least one Xena character and be classic in nature (no subtext). All types of artwork will be accepted. The same piece of artwork can only be submitted once into the any of the 12 contests.
Artists are free to use any special effects, textures, filters or outside images in their submissions.
Each monthy contest will be judged and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, plus 1 Honorable Mention winners will recieve an award suitable for web display. The winners will be announced on the 5th of the following month.
The 1st place winner from each of the 12 monthly contests will stay on display for the entire year and in January of 2010, all 12 winning entries will compete for the title of Ultimate Artist for 2009.
